Belema R. Obuoforibo, CTA ATT (Fellow), is the Director of the IBFD Knowledge Centre, Member of

Director of the annual Africa Tax Symposium, the leading global conference on African taxation, and

Ms Obuoforibo is widely published in the field of international taxation, including as an author on the
flagship IBFD publication, Global Tax Treaty Commentaries, for which she writes the chapter on Treaty

matters relating to tax policy, tax treaties and effective domestic tax legislation.

Prior to joining Leeds, he was a visiting professor of International and European Tax Law at the University of Turin in Italy, a postdoctoral researcher at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam, and a research associate at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance in Munich.

India Japan MAP relationship in transfer pricing cases has won the OECD Award
for 2019 for highest resolution, where he headed the Indian MAP team. He was
